Artists Arise!

June 17, 2016

Randall Flinn

In a time of widespread hatred and violence, artists must arise with new creative paradigms of love and beauty. The arts are sacred gifts and the artist is endowed with an entrusted stewardship.

The gifts of artistry can uniquely serve as powerful healing agents for the bitter waters of injustice and suffering. Humanity needs artists to speak forth life into the heart of culture; shining light into the darkness, salting the decay and comforting the despair.

We need artistic expressions that are bathed in the virtues of redemptive grace and hope.

Artists hold the potential and power to bring true blessing to this world. Art must never act to curse, corrupt or destroy the soul of humankind. May more artists arise to such desperate need for our world to witness true love and beauty in manifold forms.

There is no time for selfish cause; we must act now through our selfless offerings for a world in troubled waiting and deep felt longings. Fellow artists, let us arise even the more potent and purposed in our pursuits to color this world with life-giving artistry.
