Awakened by the wings of a spring breeze
Aroused to see a sacramental view
Approaching an unapproachable scene
Assessing the beautiful and the true,
As a mythic veil reveals a portal,
Alluring the pure in heart with wonder
Affirming we’re more than just mere mortals
Aching for Eden to feed our hunger.
Assigned by the creator to create,
And throng the world with transcendental bliss
Acknowledging to all that God is great
Adoring the one who’ll grant a pure wish
A cross of love, the sacred alchemy
All of us need His bloody charity.
