Come, Beloved – Rest with Me

January 28, 2020

Christina Brown

Come to Me, My beloved. Rest with Me.

I’m afraid. I cannot.

Do not fear, My beloved. Rest with Me.

I love you. But I cannot.

I’ll hold you, My beloved. Rest with Me.

I cannot. I don’t know how.

I’ll show you, My beloved. Rest with Me.

You’ll show me? How to rest?

Start slowly, My beloved. It’s all right.

Walk towards you? Just like this?

Just like that, My beloved. I’ve got you.

I’m not sure…I’m nervous.

I know that, My beloved. Here’s My hand.

Okay, then. Here’s mine.

Embrace Me, My beloved. You’re safe.

I am safe, aren’t I?

Yes you are, My beloved, yes you are.

I love you. I really do.

I know it, My bride. Now rest in My love.

I will, my King, I will.
