enise Armstrong (née Stair), blogs from a Christian cross-

teacher of English for Secondary Schools and received her Diploma in Education and a BA degree from Shortwood Teacher’s College in Jamaica, University of the West Indies.

She is grateful for the life she has led so far, being married to her husband of over thirty years, Claude, and raising their three ‘Jamerican’ offspring. She also enjoys the fine and performing arts especially as applied liturgically in edifying the local church. Wherever they have made home she delights to serve in areas of Christian discipleship.

Denise gives ‘Jamaica Talks’ as the character, Aunty Nettie, employing this and her educational training in both church and school settings to share biblical and cross-cultural messages. Her work has appeared on Jamaican television, in international poetry reading events, in The Joyful Life and Cultivating magazines (both online publications), as well as in The Caribbean Writer, a Literary Journal of the Virgin Islands. She is currently pursuing graduate studies in Christian Cultural Apologetics while living in Germany with her husband.
